AC Milan vs. Fiorentina Betting Tips
Fiorentina will travel to Milan for a Matchday 25 derby clash as both sides look to regain consistency and catch up with Serie A top 5. The visitors will thus play their second away match in just days after beating Borussia M’gladbach (0-1) in their Europa League clash on Thursday, and while they will take confidence from it, we don’t see them snatching any points at Giuseppe Meazza.
Although we haven’t seen convincing performances from Milan recently, they come into the match on the back of a two-match unbeaten streak as they’ve earned a narrow win at Bologna (0-1) and a 1-1 draw at Lazio with a late equalizer from Suso. The important battle for points in top 5 chase thus seems a perfect chance to return to the winning ways in front of the home fans, and we’ll back them to win at a good-looking 23/20 with bet365
Rossoneri have been very confident at home but they’ve lost their last two games there (1-2 to Napoli and 0-1 to Sampdoria which then made it four losses in a row), and they’ll surely need to work on their team spirits to regain the fort Giuseppe Meazza was beforehand. The visitors, on the other hand, have picked up their form recently but their away records have been wildly unpredictable and inconsistent, to say the least.
The unconvincing and narrow win over M’gladbach has made it just three in their last seven away games, as conceding a high total of ten goals in the process made it impossible to earn any further points. However, they have seemed inspired in the final third and while we do feel Milan will have what it takes to bag the points, we’ll also go for a thriller with Over 2.5 goals FT at 4/5 with BetVictor
AC Milan vs. Fiorentina Stats
The sides have met twice in 2016, and AC Milan have been able to get the better of their rivals with a home win (2-0) back in January and a goalless draw at Artemio Franchi in September. While we are used to tight matches, both sides being in fine shape up front we do feel we might be in for an exciting matchup this time around.
We’ll also try our luck in the correct score market backing a 2-1 home win, which comes at a handsome 8/1 with William Hill
and could be a lively longshot as we expect both sides going for the points.
