Alashkert vs. BATE Betting Tips

BATE travel to Yerevan for the return match of their UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round clash against Alashkert, after being held to a 1-1 draw by their rivals in front of the home fans. They’ll now hope to recuperate and snatch a win which would take them to the next round and we do feel Aleksandr Yermakovich’s men have what it takes as we back them at 17/20 with bet365.

Interestingly, the visitors don’t have problems playing on the road and they’ve been even more convincing recently, connecting three straight wins as they’ve outclassed Naftan (0-3), Neman Grodno (0-1), and Neman-Agro (1-5) despite some slip-ups at Borisov Arena along the way.

Alashkert will be no pushovers, though, and they’ve shown both quality and determination in the first leg. However, BATE have been overpowering and we do feel they’ve been lucky to have scored the late equaliser and assuming they can build on it does come off as a longshot. They have a lengthy unbeaten streak behind them but it’s far from the fact they’ve been consistent as they’ve earned three draws and four wins in their last seven games.

Nonetheless, we do feel they’ll have more on their rivals this time around and should be able to get on the scoresheet here as well so we’ll also go for a Yes on Both teams to score, which comes at 1/1 with William Hill and looks a great approach to the fixture. We’ve seen the home side score goals in all of their last 16 games in 2017 and they’ll now be very motivated to build on the tally.

Alashkert vs. BATE Stats

The last week’s 1-1 draw in Borisov was only the first head-to-head clash for the sides and while we’re surely in for a similarly narrow contest, BATE should be able to bounce back and bag their first win over the rivals.

We’ll go for a narrow away win in the correct score market as well, backing a 1-2 prediction at an eye-catching 8/1 with Ladbrokes as it could prove to be more than a lively longshot on the day.
