Bournemouth vs Liverpool Tips

Tip 1

Justin Kluivert is going through a real purple patch of form at the moment, hitting his 11th goal of the PL campaign last Saturday.

Before his hat-trick at Wolves at the end of November – which coincided with his team’s uptick in form – he’d netted only twice; since going on to score a further six times following that 4-2 win, with five of those coming in his last three.

Goals against Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Brentford, Newcastle and Forest prove he’s a reliable man for the big occasion and shows he is unawed when coming up against the division’s stronger teams.

Tip 2

Dominik Szoboszlai has had a similar glow up in the last month or so, however, with that he appears to have somewhat abandoned the discipline we’d come to expect.

The Hungarian midfielder is Liverpool’s most carded player with six yellows from 20 Premier League appearances this term.

He’s been booked in three of his last five league outings – two of which have come in away matches with Tottenham and Brentford – and he’s also committed two or more fouls on three of the last four occasions.

Tip 3

For those who love a larger priced bet, add a Ryan Christie card to the previous two selections, taking the 21/1 double up to a mouthwatering 120/1 treble!

The Scotsman has picked up eight cautions for Bournemouth this term, committing the fourth-highest number of fouls (37) between these two teams.

To make things more appealing, he’s found himself entered into the referee’s book in three of his last five PL appearances, and the Cherries sit top of official Stuart Atwell’s list for the team to receive the most yellows (9) in matches he’s taken charge of this campaign.

Bournemouth Form, Team News & Predicted Line-Up

The Cherries are one of the division’s best form teams, going unbeaten across 12 games, including their 5-1 win over West Brom in the FA Cup, and most recently pummelling fellow surprise package Nottingham Forest into submission with a 5-0 hammering.

Bournemouth are still without long-term absentees Unal and Evanilson, who are joined by fellow injury-stricken individuals Marcos Senesi, James Hill, Julian Araujo, Julio Soler, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra and Adam Smith.

Bournemouth Predicted XI: Kepa; Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Adams; Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo; Ouattara.

Liverpool Form, Team News & Predicted Line-Up

Arne Slot fielded a heavily rotated side for the trip to PSV on the final match day of the Champions League group phase, where the Reds fell to a 3-2 defeat to the Dutch outfit.

Despite welcoming back Joe Gomez to full training this week, Liverpool remain without Diogo Jota and most likely Curtis Jones for this clash, who are both absent through injury.

Liverpool Predicted XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz.
