Big Ange criticised his team for not being aggressive enough in Thursday’s defeat, hooking both Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr after an hour, which should prompt a start for Lucas Bergvall here.

The trigger-happy teen has been booked seven times in his last 15 appearances, with four of these coming in cup competitions for Spurs.

That alone makes this a fantastic price for the Swedish midfielder to be carded, however, those chances increase when you factor in Villa’s existing attacking talents – Morgan Rogers, Jacob Ramsey, Ollie Watkins – and the hosts’ new additions who could play a part – Marco Asensio, Donyell Malen, Marcus Rashford.

Ollie Watkins has 10 goals this season, scoring four in his last eight appearances. The latest came as the match winner in the 4-2 win over Celtic last Wednesday and the striker has also found the net once in his last three outings against Spurs.

Villa have scored two versus, Arsenal, City, Brighton, West Ham, Brentford, RB Leipzig, Leicester and Celtic since the start of December.

Meanwhile, Morgan Rogers has 10 goals and five assists for the season, most recently netting a first ever UCL hat-trick against Celtic. He’s also scored past Spurs already this campaign and netted in the previous round of this competition when facing West Ham.
