Top of the Non-League tree is the National League. Made up of 24 teams, this division includes some illustrious former Football League clubs including the likes of Welsh side Wrexham, plus the likes of Chester City, York City and Merseyside club Tranmere Rovers.
Promotion from this division is of vital importance as it means the difference between the Football League and Non-League and you can expect to see some real battles at both ends of the table every season.
Flying high towards the top this time around include Forest Green Rovers, looking for their first ever venture into the Football League, plus the likes of Lincoln City, Tranmere Rovers and Dagenham and Redbridge who are hoping for a return following relatively short absences from the top four divisions.
With just one spot for automatic promotion, this is a notoriously difficult league to get out of in an upwardly mobile direction at least, although the end of season play-offs are always likely to involve plenty of thrills and spills including the final played at Wembley Stadium.
