On Saturday, there are four 3pm kick-offs to cast an eye over, including a massive clash at the bottom of the table between Reading and Aston Villa.
Going into this weekend, only one point separates these two in 18th and 19th position. Victory would be massive for both teams and although defeat doesn’t mean relegation, it would be a major setback to lose to a relegation rival.
Basement club Queens Park Rangers are also in action on Saturday. They host Sunderland at Loftus Road and will be determined to follow up their excellent win at Southampton from last weekend.
Harry Redknapp’s men are still the favourites to go down, but the win moved them to within four points of safety.
Home games are crucial for them too, so three points has to be the aim against a Sunderland side that has had a frustrating season. The Black Cats could also do with a positive result to ease their relegation fears.
The same can be said for Norwich City and Southampton who meet at Carrow Road. After their win over Everton last week, the Canaries are expected to have enough to stay in the top flight, but a couple of wins are still needed.
Defeat against Southampton – who are three places and five points below them in the table – would definitely leave Norwich worried, while the Saints are looking for a response to the QPR defeat.
Finally on Saturday, West Brom and Swansea go head to head at the Hawthorns. Both teams have had fantastic seasons and currently sit 8th and 9th in the table with 40 points each. This should be an entertaining contest.
Moving on to Sunday, there are two further matches to enjoy. First of all, Newcastle are in action at home to Stoke City from 3pm.
Then, from 4pm, there is the pick of the Premier League action for this weekend as Liverpool and Tottenham do battle at Anfield.
The Reds have shown some fine form of late and were extremely convincing in the 4-0 demolition of Wigan Athletic last weekend. Tottenham are flying too of course and will be aiming to consolidate their place in the top three.
A fascinating contest that sees two of the most in-form players in the league – Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale – go head to head, this is a cracking finale to the Premier League weekend.
