Everton's first season under Ronald Koeman hasn't been as plain sailing as supporters at Goodison Park were hoping for. Koeman possesses a squad that's capable of competing for European football and although that's still a possibility if some of the teams finishing above them go onto win trophies, a top six finish is beginning to look highly unlikely to the Merseysiders.
Recent form has improved a little and the Toffees come into this game on the back of three wins in their last five Premier League matches, including an impressive victory over Arsenal before Christmas. During that spell they did however lose out to neighbours Liverpool and after crashing out of the FA Cup last weekend, they need a win here at 10/3 with

Manchester City will also have been fairly disappointed with the way their first season has gone underneath a new manager. Pep Guardiola came to the Premier League in the summer with a reputation as one of the best coaches in world football but despite a blistering start including 10 wins in his first 10 competitive games, things aren't looking quite so rosy anymore.
That said, the Citizens have won four of their last five games in the Premier League, including a narrow victory over Arsenal like their Sunday afternoon opponents Everton. After smashing five past West Ham United in a comfortable FA Cup victory last Friday night, confidence will be high among Pep's players - will that shine through in another away win at 17/20 with BetVictor
With the attacking talent that Everton have in their ranks, it's very rare they fail to find the net in front of their own supporters. In Romelu Lukaku they have one of the league's most threatening centre forwards and against a Manchester City defence that has come in for plenty of criticism this season he could prove to be a real handful.
We fancy the hosts to get on the scoresheet at the very least in this game, but the Citizens are starting to get back to their best and confidence is sure to be flowing following that thumping win at the London Stadium last time out. The away win and both teams to score bet looks an attractive proposition to us in this fixture at odds of 12/5 with bet365
That man Lukaku is one of our two anytime scorer tips in this game. When Everton find the net, you can expect the Belgian to be involved and he's bagged 11 times in the league this term. On the other side though, Sergio Aguero has also managed 11 goals in even fewer appearances. Despite their impressive records, you can still get odds of 4/1 with William Hill
on the anytime goalscorer double in this game.Recommended bets:
